I came to Boulder to pursue my passion for anatomy and physiology and how the body works by attending the Boulder School of Massage. After graduating from Massage school I started working as a massage therapist in Denver at the the spa in the historic Oxford Hotel. It was at the Oxford where I was introduced to the world of being an Esthetician. What could be better than combining my love of massage with a fascination for how the skin works and a desire to learn about slowing down the ageing process with products and treatments that truly work? ( I had selfish reasons for that one of course.) I decided to attend Front Range Community College to earn my Esthetician license. Since then I have worked in the spa industry and enjoyed every minute of it for the past 20 years.

I have learned many things over the years. At Essentials Spa I learned to perfect the “art of service “, but after 17 years at Essentials it was time to move on and learn how to create something else –  a spa !  That’s when I went on to help create Orange Poppy Spa in North Boulder.  Now I am on a new adventure with Sasha’s Skincare Studio.

In all my years of working in the industry I have not lost my passion for learning new techniques, and discovering new products to bring to the treatment room. Creating facials that leave people glowing from the inside out is my goal.

My free time is spent mountain bike racing, silversmithing, and with my two cattle dogs, also taking as many dance classes as I can fit in.
